Michael Landingham is a singer-songwriter creating intimate, roots-driven indie folk full of raw heart and honest storytelling.

He first made his mark as a core member of Lion & Bear from 2017 to 2020, writing and releasing a full-length album that collected millions of streams. During those years he also worked as a songwriter for Tooth & Nail Records and BEC Recordings, eventually signing with BEC in 2018. In 2023 he stepped onto a national stage as a contestant on Season 23 of NBC’s The Voice, performing for coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan. Embarking on his solo career, Michael made waves with songs such as “Hot Hoochie Daddy” and “Rage” in the SoCal country music scene.

Now Michael is stepping into a new chapter. Returning to his background in soft spoken and heartfelt storytelling, this upcoming album, “Bleeding Out,” seeks dig into darker places and the hard-won light that follows.
